Courtney Jones

Hello! My name is Courtney Jones. I am a 3d artist from Frederick, MD, who graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development in 2018. I am currently living in Massachusetts and was working for Wayfair as a senior 3d prop artist from September of 2019 until I was laid off in January of 2023.

I know Substance designer and Painter very well, and know a lot about Blender and Cycles as well, as those are my preferred 3d modeling and rendering software. I am also proficient in Maya, 3ds Max, Marvelous Designer, Zbrush, Topogun, Headus UV Layout, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, V-ray, Unreal Engine. I am always eager to learn new software and techniques for creating art and I love focusing in on adding tiny details to the models and materials I make.

I also do a lot of nail art and play D&D in my free time! It's inspired quite a few projects I've worked on outside of work, the background of the footer of this page is actually a substance designer material I created based off marbling nail polish!
